It happens every January 1st. A blank slate calendar full of three hundred and sixty five days that can be filled with glorious travel opportunities. When will you start your 2015 travels? Where will you go? How will you get there? What will you do when you arrive? And who will you meet along the way? Do you have any travel resolutions to make for this New Year? Maybe it will be the first time you take a plane or the first time you take a cruise. Whatever you do, don’t be surprised if the traveling bug gets under your skin and has you traveling from coast to coast and continent to continent in 2015. Here are some things to consider as you map out your travels.
- Take the plunge and explore all things Alaska, the land of the midnight sun. Are you uncertain how to get there or where to go once you arrive? Not to worry. Let Nat and Dave be your tour guides and enjoy a trip you’ll remember long after the next New Year comes along.
- Have you already picked out the perfect travel destination, but don’t know where you’re going to lay your head once you get there? Check out Vacation Rentals by Owner. They’ve got rental homes in everyone’s budget and in nearly every destination you can think of.
- Are you looking for a romantic getaway? Some place extravagant where you can let go of the stress of everyday life? Here are a few places I went to in 2014 with the love of my life: Maui, Seattle, and San Francisco that you might like to try.
- Maybe you’re interested in leaving behind the luxuries you experience on a daily basis and want to rough it a little, the old style way. If so, try tent camping. It makes for creating some fun memories.
In our house, we’ve already started talking about where we’re going next year. Gulf Shores, Alabama is on our list of sights to see again. We’ve been there before, but it’s been a while. We are also going to try our hand at some international travel to Germany and France. I’ve already found some really interesting information about those countries and I’m excited to go explore with the family. Don’t worry. I’ll be sure to tell you all about it when we return home.
And aside from the two big trips a year that are always plugged into the calendar, I’m sure we’ll find our way around the country taking a weekend getaway here or there. What are your travel plans? Tell me all about it and maybe we can meet up somewhere along the way!
